I’m doing some work for Pilgrim these days and in between writing and trend researching I decided to clean up my desk. I found this folder filled with old outfits from when I first started blogging more than 3 years ago. The first year I was only wearing black. No exception. Head to toe. Not that there’s anything wrong with wearing black – not at all, but it’s interesting how my style has changed since then. It was even more interesting to see how ridiculous I looked in some of the outfits. Carrot-like bleached jeans, a bra on the outside of a tee and incredibly weird looking pants are things you’ll never see me be wearing again. I swear. What’s on your never-wear-again list?

Costume is celebrating 10 years! I still remember the day I got my hands on the first issue with Mini Anden on the cover. My mom gave it to me and I was hooked. I’ve collected every single issue ever since – and even when I was living in London right after high school and again when I took a semester at London College of Fashion my mom sent it to me every month (sadly my magazine collection was destroyed in a rainstorm the very same day I moved from Copenhagen last summer). There’s no need to tell you that Costume has a very special place in my heart. I was working there for 5 years and I still miss it. Luckily I get to do a lot of freelance writing + I have my very own BlameItOnFashion-page in the magazine.  This month I’m celebrating Costume 10 with some of my favorite beautybuys and the outfit I would be wearing if I was in Denmark for the birthday party.

I’m wearing my new foamy jacket from H&M, which I’m sure will be a favorite in my wardrobe. Who cares that my hubby hates it and that it’s way too hot for LA – it rocks! And sometimes you have to suffer for fashion.
