I’m doing some work for Pilgrim these days and in between writing and trend researching I decided to clean up my desk. I found this folder filled with old outfits from when I first started blogging more than 3 years ago. The first year I was only wearing black. No exception. Head to toe. Not that there’s anything wrong with wearing black – not at all, but it’s interesting how my style has changed since then. It was even more interesting to see how ridiculous I looked in some of the outfits. Carrot-like bleached jeans, a bra on the outside of a tee and incredibly weird looking pants are things you’ll never see me be wearing again. I swear. What’s on your never-wear-again list?
I recently got my eyes up for Fashiolista and I’m obsessed. For those of you who doesn’t know Fashiolista it’s a website where you can save and share all your cravings, make shopping lists and get inspiration from thousands of other Fashiolistas. It’s very simple – if you see something you like at a webshop you add it to your profile with just one click. I get a lot of my inspiration from looking at webshops and this is the perfect way for me to keep and overview of cravings, trends etc. Search for blamefashion and you’ll find me – or click here.
I’ve teamed up with Fashiolista and accessory heaven Charm & Chain for this really cool contest. Two lucky Fashiolistas will end up winning a giftcard ($500 + $250) to Charm & Chain and with designers such as Dannijo, Erickson Beamon, Fenton, Alexis Bittar and Fallon I’m sure you don’t wanna miss it… Long story short – to enter the contest you need to accessorize me by choosing a maximum of 6 accessories from Charm & Chain. It’s easy peasy – and a lot of fun!
Here’s how to…
1. Make sure you are registered on Fashiolista. If you haven’t already this can easily be done right here.
2. Go to the contest page on Fashiolista to accessorize your Charm & Chain look for me – click here.
Costume is celebrating 10 years! I still remember the day I got my hands on the first issue with Mini Anden on the cover. My mom gave it to me and I was hooked. I’ve collected every single issue ever since – and even when I was living in London right after high school and again when I took a semester at London College of Fashion my mom sent it to me every month (sadly my magazine collection was destroyed in a rainstorm the very same day I moved from Copenhagen last summer). There’s no need to tell you that Costume has a very special place in my heart. I was working there for 5 years and I still miss it. Luckily I get to do a lot of freelance writing + I have my very own BlameItOnFashion-page in the magazine. This month I’m celebrating Costume 10 with some of my favorite beautybuys and the outfit I would be wearing if I was in Denmark for the birthday party.
♥HAPPY BIRTHDAY COSTUME – YOU’RE THE BEST♥
The new issue is out today! 232 pages of shopping, editorials and celebration!
I’m wearing my new foamy jacket from H&M, which I’m sure will be a favorite in my wardrobe. Who cares that my hubby hates it and that it’s way too hot for LA – it rocks! And sometimes you have to suffer for fashion.
Btw. if you’re on Instagram – don’t forget to follow me. I’m sharing anything from swedish meatballs and chocolate cakes to beauty products and outfits. Search for blamefashion and you’ll find me.
Okay, back to work. I have to finish an interview for a Danish magazine and with 30 questions it’ll take me a day. Not complaining though – I’m so so happy to be featured!
