I’m in love.

I stopped by Helmut Lang this morning to see the SS13 collection up close – and I honestly don’t think 5 minutes have passed without me thinkning about the collection ever since I saw it. Boxy outerwear, slouchy pants, fitted leather jackets, cropped A-line skirts, full shorts and the perfect leather leggings – I want all of it.

For the collection Nicole & Michael Colovos, Creative Directors of Helmut Lang, were inspired by life aquatic. They worked with the artist and tattoist Thomas Hooper, whose hand drawn designs have been incorporated into the collection as neon and blue jacquard prints. Which leads me to some of my absolute favorite pieces in the collection: the boxy jacket at the bottom picture, the blue printed shorts, the blue skirt and those too-good-to-be-true cropped leather leggings.

I’m in love.

Jeg var forbi Helmut Lang i formiddags for at komme helt tæt på SS13 kollektionen – og jeg tror helt ærligt ikke, at der er gået 5 minutter uden jeg har tænkt på den siden jeg så den. Boxy jakker, miniskirts, fitted læderjakker, voluminøse shorts og de helt perfekte læderleggings – jeg drømmer om det hele. 

Nicole og Michael Colovos, Creative Directors hos Helmut Lang, er til kollektionen blevet inspireret af livet under havoverfladen. De har arbejdet tæt sammen med kunstneren og tatovøren Thomas Hooper, hvis fantastiske håndtegninger er blevet til en del af kollektionen som neon og blå jacquard prints. Og det leder mig til nogle af mine absolutte favoritter i kollektionen: den boxy jakke på det nederste billede, de blå shorts, den blå nederdel og de too-good-to-be-true cropped læderleggings.
