Freja is back. She’s gracing the cover of Vogue Paris this month, she’s killing it in a stunning couture editorial inside Vogue Paris and now this – the pre-fall Saint Laurent campaign. Is it weird to say that I’ve missed her? I did. Fingers crossed that she’ll be back on the catwalk during the coming fashion weeks as well…

Here’s some behind-the-scenes images from last week, where I went to Denmark to style the Winter13 lookbook for Mbym. Let me just say Emma Oak was stunning! We met at 8.30 in the morning and by 5pm she was still full of energy. We shot around 55 looks, which is a lot in one day and I’m really happy with the result. The collection was fantastic and so was the team. Isn’t funny to think about how two model agencies turned Emma down before she finally signed with Gossip Model Management. And now she’s walking for Proenza Schouler, Marni, Miu Miu etc. Never give up, right?

Her er et par backstage-billeder fra sidste uges shoot med Mbym. Jeg var taget til Danmark for at style vinter2013 lookbook’en og det blev så fint. Emma Oak var helt fantastisk. Vi mødtes kl. 8.3o og kl. 17 var hun stadig fuld af energi. Vi skød omkring 55 looks, hvilket er virkelig meget på en enkelt dag og jeg var helt færdig, da vi sluttede. Kollektionen er lækker og I kan godt glæde jer til den kommer i butikkerne til oktober. Og så lige en sjov historie om Emma. Hun fortalte mig, at hun blev opdaget i Weekday af to forskellige bureauer, men at begge gav hende afslag efter testskydningen. Efterfølgende sendte hun sine billeder ind til Gossip Model Management (der i øvrigt også er Nadja Benders bureau) – og nu går hun shows for Proenza Schouler, Marni, Miu Miu etc. Moralen må være aldrig at give op.
